      <image:title>Meet the team - Kane Hobbs (CRRA)</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Kane Hobbs and I am one of the owners here at Sober Minds Recovery. Working the program of Alcoholics Anonymous has given me a life of freedom, Humility, Action and Honesty. All three are equally important, but for me what stuck the most was the honesty aspect. When first arriving at a treatment center in April, 2013 my life had no purpose and I was severely sick. I was a liar, thief and hopelessly addicted to drugs and alcohol. The experience there was incredible. My life took a far-reaching turn for the better. After sixty days in treatment, I was sent to a sober home in Asheville, North Carolina and jumped quickly into the program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Through working the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous I have been able to sustain long term sobriety. I love my life today. All I want to do is help men enjoy life and stay sober doing it. <image:title>Meet the team - Tripp Hobbs</image:title>
<image:caption>My name is Tripp and I am an owner of Sober Minds. I have been an addict since the day I was born. Addicted to everything I ever enjoyed. Ice Hockey, skateboarding, kitesurfing etc. I would neglect everything else to get my fix. When I finally made the transition and started “experimenting” with drugs and alcohol I finally felt free. They made me feel like a better person at first. More exciting, more fun to be around and better at the sports I played. Soon though once the addiction aspect really took hold, my quality of life diminished drastically. I met a girl who is soon to be my wife prior to getting sober. She saved my life. I was constantly sick and tired of life but she showed me glimpses of the person I wanted to be and the life I wanted to live. My final time getting sober was after a back injury. I begged to go to detox and rehab, and finally found out that I needed surgery. My operation (opioid free) went successfully and my sobriety gets stronger everyday. I want to help others feel the same way I feel. I love surfing, kite surfing, diving, mountain biking, golfing and I play men's league Ice Hockey down the road two nights a week. Without exercise and the ability to unwind sobriety was grueling for me before. Sobriety is a serious and usually fatal disease but getting young as a sober man there has to be a healthy balance between work and play. You have to learn how to have fun and enjoy life. Life is beautiful and I try to do something everyday that shows me the true beauty surrounding us in Jupiter. Contact me: tripp@sobermindsrecovery.org 302-540-7475</image:caption>

      <image:title>Meet the team - Ian Ronaldson</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi, my name is Ian! I arrived at Sober Minds on August 28 2019 as a client. When I arrived, my life was unrecognizable to what it is today. I had hours sober, was struggling mightily with PTSD and mental health issues, and genuinely did not see a way out. Tripp and Kane loved me until I learned how to love myself. They woke up at 6am every day to drive me to work. When I came home, we would talk about sobriety, mental health and how to live a happy and healthy life without drugs or alcohol. Over time, these two men became my brothers, and they taught me that living a sober life was not only possible but also the best way to show up for myself. As time went on and I got healthier, my love for them and Sober Minds grew. I have two main passions in life: helping children with autism and helping others struggling with addiction. Today, I work as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism. When I get home, it is my privilege to immediately dive into working as a manager for Sober Minds. Because of Tripp and Kane, I was able to heal and can now help others. For me, there is no greater gift. Helping others out of the all-consuming darkness that is addiction is something that is not just a job to me; it is a calling and one that I zealously pursue daily. <image:caption>Jennifer Goggin, LPC, LMHC, SEP Jennifer Goggin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut, serving clients in Palm Beach, across Florida, and virtually in Connecticut. As a board member of Sober Minds Recovery Residence in Jupiter, Florida, she brings extensive experience in addiction treatment, trauma therapy, and mental health care. Her work integrates Somatic Experiencing, attachment-based therapy, and nervous system regulation to support lasting recovery from addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Jennifer previously served as a Director at the Hanley Center during its time under Origins Behavioral Healthcare, where she contributed to high-quality clinical programming in substance use and mental health treatment. She has also been affiliated with Caron Treatment Centers, further strengthening her expertise within leading addiction recovery organizations. Jen facilitates groups for an international audience through the Self-Healers Circle, founded by New York Times bestselling author Dr. Nicole LePera. In this role, she helps individuals deepen self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healing through accessible, community-based support. In addition to her professional work, Jen brings a deeply personal connection to recovery. As a loved one of a young man who has achieved long-term sobriety and gone on to become a successful executive and grounded human being, she has witnessed firsthand that recovery is not just about overcoming addiction—but about transformation. She believes many individuals thrive not despite recovery, but because of it. Jen is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate addiction, trauma, and healing. Her approach emphasizes connection, accountability, and whole-person care, supporting meaningful and sustainable change. Through her leadership at Sober Minds Recovery Residence, Jen is committed to expanding access to high-quality addiction treatment in Jupiter, Florida and beyond, while helping reshape the narrative around recovery into one of strength, dignity, and possibility. When she is not working with clients, she can be seen supporting her kids at Palm Beach Gardens Baseball or at their school.
